The Welsh Assembly Election 2007 will be a General Election to the National Assembly For Wales , to take place on Thursday 3 May , 2007. It will be the third election for seats in the National Assembly for Wales, (previous elections in 1999 and 2003). As Of 2005 , the National Assembly is the only gender-balanced parliament in the world with 30 female Assembly members and 30 male Assembly members. CANDIDATES NOMINATED Plaid Cymru
Welsh Conservatives Welsh Labour Welsh Liberal Democrats Wales Green Party Rhodri Griffiths, a Deputy head in Gower, was nominated to lead the South Wales West list in March 2006. NOTIONAL ELECTION 2003 Due to boundary changes the composition of the outgoing Assembly will not reflect the Assembly that was elected in May 2003. The main changes are in Gwynedd where the constituencies of Conwy, Caernarfon and Meirionydd are being replaced by Arfon, Dwyfor and Aberconwy. EXTERNAL LINK SEE ALSO
