Southwest DC is the southwestern Quadrant of the city, located north of East Capitol Street and east of North Capital Street. Politically, Southwest includes portions of the second, sixth and eighth wards. It is accessible via the Blue, Green, Orange and Yellow lines on the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority 's metrorail. Buildings of note in SW Washington include:
