GAMEPLAY War Breeds features skirmishes, a multiplayer mode and campaigns. War breeds has four playable sides, however in the campaign it is only possible to chose two of the sides. As the campaign progresses another side joins with the player providing more depth in what they do with their warriors. War Breeds provides a different concept on construction of units and buildings as compared with other Real Time Strategies , War Breeds allows the player to create many units and structures. However it limits the player on the amount of structures by making them harvest power from spore pods. Although other RTS's use units to gather resources like food, lumber, gold etc, War Breeds harvests the power using a building which draws power from the spores which are near by. The player is also limited on how many units that they can create. As with other RTS's the units are limited by a certain structure. One of the more unique concepts introduced by War Breeds was the ability to collect DNA from dead enemy's making it possible to gain their technology. |
