Volume Logic Plug-In is the very first audio enhancing Plug-in developed for Apple ITunes . Developed by the Plantronics Volume Logic division, the Volume Logic plug-in has since become compatible with ITunes , Winamp , Windows Media Player , Musicmatch Jukebox , and Real Player . The plug-in was intitally developed to address the problem of volume shifts between playlist tracks while raising the overall audio quality throughout. The aim was to improve the output from both low and high quality Speakers . Volume Logic Technology The Volume Logic Plug-in incorporates multi-band dynamics processing technology. Audio Processing restores spectral balance to the user's musical library, raising low levels and keeping Distortion under control. It is also equipped with twelve look-ahead peak limiters which provide distortion-free transient control. The Volume Logic Plug-in provides Equalization to each track in real-time, ensuring that each song is altered to deliver the best possible output. This same core technology has been used in some of the top online radio stations and by several broadcasters. Volume Logic v1.3 Volume Logic v1.3 marked the very first version branded with the Plantronics name, and included such updates as bug fixes, improved presets, and the addition of innovative purchasing methods.
