The arena seats 17,500 for Hockey and up to 21,000 for Concerts (20,500 for end-stage shows). VCA's seating capacity makes it one of the nation's premier college owned arenas and the largest in the Big Ten . In its eight years as home of Ohio State Basketball over 2 million fans have attended games in the arena. Ohio State ranked 18th in the nation in average attendance (15,390) for the 2005-06 season.
