It lies on the A49 north of Battlefield . The Welsh Marches Line runs through the village too. It lies in the parish of Astley in the borough of Shrewsbury And Atcham . Recent developments between the village and the town of Shrewsbury have nearly merged the two settlements. By December 2005, upon the completion of the new service station and livestock market site at Battlefield Roundabout, there is only a small field in between. |
