Be responsible for all matters that concern potential Univ students and the academic affairs of current students.
Aid college in the organisation of College Open Days.
Organise jointly with the JCR President, with the help of the JCR Committee and college, a Fresher's Week and associated events.
Produce a Fresher’s Guide, with the help of the JCR Committee and college, to give to Freshers.
Produce an Alternative Prospectus available from Trinity Term.
Run the JCR Parenting Scheme, finding outgoing first years to act as “parents” for Freshers.
Liase with the Senior Tutor on matters concerning the academic affairs of Univ students.
Attend OUSU Academic Affairs Committee.
Run a JCR Collections Survey on the JCR Website, with the co-operation of the Web Kong, during Hilary Term. The results from this survey should be presented by the Academic Affairs Officer, with the co-operation of the JCR President, to the Senior Tutor, with a view to improving the quality and quantity of tutor responsiveness over collections.
