TULIP TULIP is an acronym for the Five Points Of Calvinism , a Christian Theology named after French Reformer John Calvin . Calvinism is synonymous with Reformed Theology and deals with Soteriology . Many of the Puritans who founded colonies in the American northeast were Calvinists.
