Formed in 1998 their first release was nn 2000 with the self-entitled album "Tsar". In 2005 They released their second album on TVT Records , Band-Girls-Money, with a decidedly "dirtier", more Garage-rock sound. Tsar are: Jeff Whalen (Vocals, Guitar ) Daniel Kern (Lead guitar, Vocals ) Charles Byler ( Drums ) Jeff Solomon ( Bass ) Their album "Tsar" was produced by Rob Cavalio and mixed by Chris Lord-Alge .
