Triple Divide Peak (8020 ft/2444 m) is located in Glacier National Park , Montana , United States . The Continental Divide and the Hudson Bay divide meet at the summit of the peak, and all water that falls at this point flows either to the Pacific , Arctic or the Atlantic Ocean s. Rainfall on the western side of the peak enters the Flathead River , a tributary of the Columbia River and on to the Pacific Ocean. The northeastern slope of the mountain sheds water toward the Saskatchewan River , which flows to Cedar Lake, which drains to Lake Winnipeg, which ultimately drains into the Arctic Ocean via Hudson Bay. Moisture on the southeastern slopes feed the Marias River which is a tributary of the Missouri River . The Missouri River joins the Mississippi River at St. Louis , eventually finishing at the Gulf Of Mexico of the North Atlantic Ocean .
