Tower Hill School is a small Private Preparatory School located at 2813 West 17th Street in Wilmington, Delaware offering instruction for Pre-kindergarten through 12th Grade . It has a strong academic reputation; particularly strong are the English and History departments, while those relating to science and technology tend to be less emphasized. Its graduates are generally admitted to the best colleges and universities in the nation.

The girl's tennis, field hockey, track, and lacrosse teams are considered strong, and often win state titles. The boys' teams, with the exception of the strong lacrosse program, who were state champs in 2005, have a less stellar record, often losing against larger public and Catholic schools in the area.

Tower Hill is an almost entirely Caucasian school. On average there are two to three minority students in each grade. Due to this, and the relatively high income of the students’ parents, the school sometimes draws criticism as being elitist.

Tower Hill was founded in 1919, and was originally committed to Progressive Education methods.

The school motto is ''Multa bene facta'', "Many things done well".

Famous alumni include former Duke basketball player Carmen Wallace , U.S. Congressman Michael N. Castle , and Orlando Magic GM Pat Williams and others.
