Toolstation Ltd is a UK based company supplying low cost tools and supplies to the trade and private sector. Predominantly this is accomplished through online, telephone and mail order sales however the company continues to expand it's "trade counter" store locations which currently (March 2006) are located in Bristol, Bridgwater, Yeovil, Exeter and Southampton. The company is well known in the business world as having been formed after the highly successful company Screwfix Direct was sold from private ownership to national DIY chain B&Q. Prior owners and staff of Screwfix went on to form Toolstation using the knowledge and experience gained in the creation of Screwfix and today Toolstation is a rapidly expanding competitor.
