Clarinetist , Composer , Arranger and Bandleader . Born in Minnetonka , Minnesota , and raised in the suburbs of Minneapolis . Balluff began playing jazz as early as high school. Already a skilled classical performer, he went on to study at the University Of Wisconsin . Tony Balluff's tastes in Jazz have run the gamut from early jazz (traditional or Dixieland jazz) to modern jazz. He has settled into a groove by focusing on Dixieland and Gypsy Jazz .
