Prem (
Shashi Kapoor ) is a teacher who is married to Indu (
Leela Naidu ). Prem's mother interferes so much in the marriage that Indu leaves the marriage to return to her family. Prem searches for answers from a variety of people until he family gains the maturity to love his wife.
