The Tennessee Aquarium is a public Aquarium in Chattanooga, Tennessee , USA, that opened its first exhibit in 1992. It has approximately 12,000 specimens, including Fish , Mammal s, Bird s, Reptile s, Amphibian s, and Crustacean s. The aquarium, formerly containing only freshwater specimens, opened a new saltwater building in 2005.
