The station derived it's name, like a lot of other companies, from mount Teide , a currently dormant Stratovolcano . It provides informative programs for the English and German speaking Tourists and Residents . At noon, 3pm, 6pm, 9pm and midnight they bring (positive) local News with outgoing tips, often followed by special reports about events that happened on the Island like Concerts , Exhibitions , local Fiestas or the famous carnaval of Santa Cruz de Tenerife . The producing company, Einstein Media S.L. also operates 2 Radio stations which transmit 24 hours non stop Easy Listening Music only interrupted by the mentioned news and Commercials .
