With the recent interest in the so-called "Gospel of Judas" it's only a matter of time before the world directs its attention to an even more controversial, 2,000 year-old, document that was discovered in 1963, first translated into German in 1970, and then published in 1978.

The document, which has become known as the Talmud of Jmmanuel (as in Emmanuel) contends that the man we know as Jesus was in fact named Jmmanuel, that he survived the crucifixion, then traveled through several countries with his mother Mary, Judas and others. The
Talmud reveals that Jmmanuel married and had "numerous descendants", that he died when he was over 100 years of age and - like Mary - was buried near Srinegar, India. (See: http://www.tjresearch.info/discovery.htm)

The Talmud was co-discovered by Billy Meier . Meier claims to be the victim of twenty-one assassination attempts, due in part to his connection with the Talmud {Link without Title} .

Prof. James Deardorff's website (http://www.tjresearch.info/contents.htm) contains the most
comprehensive information and research on the Talmud and its authenticity.
