The Tacoma Thunder are an International Basketball League (2005-) team based in Tacoma, Washington . The Thunder are one of two pro basketball teams in Tacoma, the other being the ABA 's Tacoma Navigators . The Thunder had an impressive inaugural campaign, leading the west with a 12-6 record. However, due to the IBL's inaugural season playoff setup, the team was denied a spot in the championship game. Considering the team's high level of success, it is surprising that the team's highest scorer, Donte Harris, ranked just 22nd in the league with 20.2 ppg. The team is coached by A.C. Mosely Jr. The Thunder played their 2005 home games at Clover Park High School, but will be playing at Lincoln High School in 2006. RELATED LINKS/SOURCES |
