Information About

Suspension Lift

Each manufactured vehicle usually requires a specific lift kit, and the types of kits vary based on the type of drivetrain that the vehicle has. Kits can be as simple as lift blocks and extended shocks; to replacement control arms, trailing arms, driveshafts and axles. The prices of these vary depending on the complexity.

One such example of a suspension lift can be seen with the Nissan Xterra, specifically the 2005-06 models. Several companies have produced lift kits for these vehicles, specifically; Daystar Products, Automotive Customizers, and Calmini, among others. The standard kit comes with front coil spacers in the front and either longer shackles or extra leafs for the rear spring pack. These lifts typically add about 2 to 3 inches of lift over stock.
