While studying at Northwestern University , she was introduced to Warren Buffett by her roommate, Buffett's sister Roberta. Susan and Warren married in 1952 and had three children: Susie, Peter, and Howard. Susan and her husband separated in 1977 , and she moved from Nebraska to San Francisco . They remained on good terms, vacationing together and spending time assisting charitable groups. She died at the age of 72 after suffering a Stroke while she and Warren Buffett were visiting their friend, investor Herbert Allen , at his ranch in Cody, Wyoming . External links
