Survival Project ( online Computer Game . GAMEPLAY/PLOT Upon starting a game, the player controls one of Twelve characters in a real-time battle where the objective is to defeat the enemy team in a set challenge. All classes have both a short-range attack and a long-range attack, as well as the ability to block. The classes' abilities differ in attributes such as short-range damage, long-range damage, hit points, spell points, movement points, movement speed, turning speed, and acceleration/deceleration speed. There are 12 Characters, Xhyrho, Shamoo, Hawk, Aurelli, Sven, Cream, Roland, Hazel, Warren, Cara, Lucy and Will. The meta-structure is similar to GunBound , although the actual gameplay is very different. DEVELOPMENT HISTORY The game was first started in South Korea and has been translated to 6 other languages; Bahasa Indonesia , Traditional Chinese , Simplified Chinese , Japanese , English and Thai . CHARACTERS Xyrho Xyrho is a silent man and nary has a word left his mouth without just cause. He never smiles for he has no reason to. Indeed, there was once such a time that he did smile and greet others, but that was a long time ago and everything has changed since then. Xyrho was born in a peaceful village and there he spent his childhood. Xyrho lost his parents when he was young but though he lived with only his grandmother, he was not lonely. The villagers were poor and the supply of food was always a concern, but they were warm-hearted people who helped each other in times of need. Then a factory was built in the village and everything changed. The clean, clear stream that ran through the village turned dirty and the air became unfit to breathe. The villagers stopped seeing grasshoppers and dragonflies in their village and the cheerful singing of the magpie was nothing but a memory. The most noticeable change however, was in the villagers themselves. They started locking up their doors at night and they stopped greeting each other. The villagers became greedy and they wanted more than they actually needed. Shamoo Shamoo was born into a magical family. Without the great efforts of the 19th grandmother in the counter-attack of the Undead, Fairyland would never have been established, and its place would be desolate graves of the Undead. Her great achievement is still honored with her face printed on money. After hundreds of years have passed, Shamoo 7th grandfather played an active part in healing the sick when a terrible plague swooped over the whole continent in year 540 of the Fairyland calendar. Shamoo grandfather was not in anyway superior in recovering power or purification power but he perfected 12 complete works of magic spells that were initiated by spoken words. His complete works are said to be the greatest compilation among all the wizards. Shamoo parents farther developed her grandfather’s great work and they established a magic school. This help expose and uncover new talent and they taught them systematically about magic. Although there were many difficulties, they made good progress. However, they were perplexed over what to do with their daughter. Shamoo was clearly gifted in the ways of magic and she cast her first spell while was merely a toddler. Hawk There is a village called Katan, deep in the deadly Jahmal Desert where no one dares to enter. The best Swordsmen dwell in this village. The children of Katan are given swords as soon as they begin to walk. They grow up to be warriors strong enough to withstand the desert’s sandstorms. Among the children of the desert, Hawk outstands them all. There is no match for him among the children of his age, and at the age of 12, Hawk could hold his own with most adults. Everybody believes that Hawk is the only one who can succeed Katan’s chief and claim the title, ‘Scorpion of the Desert’. Instead of taking all these expectations as a burden, Hawk took it proudly, as he loved to hold the sword more than anything else. Receiving the title, ‘Scorpion of the Desert’ that is given only to the best swordsman, is his only dream. Hawk exerted himself in training everyday. Even when playing with children of his age, he never took interest in the girls who stole sidelong glances at him. Hawk trained even before the coldness of the desert’s dawn faded away. Sometimes he intentionally practices under the hot noon sun. Hawk’s only wish is to become stronger. Aurelli Aurelli belongs to an Elf tribe that lives in an ancient wood called Sylva Forest. Unlike other Elves who only knew of monotonous, boring stuff like singing a song of the woods and dancing under the moonlight, Aurelli enjoyed reading books. She always read alone and she read so often that it made her suffer from bad eyesight. Fortunately, she found a secret method in ancient alchemy book, which was kept secret. She made a pair of glasses by cutting crystal and mounted them in a platinum frame. After which, she read books more zealously. Aurelli wanted to know about many things. Like why the sun rises from the east and sets in the west. Why leaves are turn brown in autumn and fall from the trees in winter. Why the wind blows. The other Elves thought her obsession a foolish pursuit unworthy of an Elf. Elves live so long that they are insensitive to feelings of happiness, anger, sadness and pleasure. They feel no happiness, they feel no anger, they feel no sadness and are not pleased with small things. Because the Elves were so indifferent, none of them understood Aurelli. She was so curious and wanted to experience everything for herself. One day, while she was reading a book on a tree by the stream like usual, she heard a voice singing. A black haired boy was walking on the shoals of the stream, splashing the waters in bare foot. Sven Sven is the lord of the Vikings. He is a fierce and overwhelming presence, and he has an excellent ability in wielding an axe that nobody can match. He is constantly unpredictable and he shows it by smiling. When Sven smiles, nobody knows what is going to happen and anyone in his company will usually feel uncomfortable. Surprisingly and unbecoming of such a character, Sven loves to cook. He likes cooking so much that people say his amazing skill with his axe comes from his constant fish skinning. In fact, once someone sees Sven's axe in action while cutting meat or skinning fish, they stop being surprised. Unfortunately, Sven may like cooking but he is not a very good at it. In fact, he is quite bad. His perfectly cut fish usually end up being burnt on the outside but uncooked on the inside. His soup contains more salt than saltwater and his pies have crusts so crusty, they will break your teeth. However, you will not find his companions complaining about his cooking. No, they are too scared (and a bit sympathetic too). But one day, when the young and daring Viking Hawk finally caved in and threw his spoon in exasperation, everyone joined in to complain about the food. They were scared when they did this but contrary to everybody’s expectation, Sven didn’t get angry. Cream Cuteness is an understatement when it comes to Cream. Her chubby cheeks, shining eyes and lapping pink hair combined with her sweet voice and facial expression melts even the stoniest of hearts. She is always showered with attention whenever she speaks. She is the sweetest and the cutest angel from Heaven. However, not all is as rosy as it may seem. Cream, for all her sweetness, has a mischievous heart and she uses the attention showered upon her for her own personal gain. Her mind is always thinking on how to take advantage of others and she often lies to everyone about everything. Nevertheless, she is one of the most loved among the angels. In the Centennial Homecoming Day, when every angel all over gather together, Kerubim, an angel of knowledge, had just stuffed himself with all sorts of delicacies prepared specially for that day. He walked out the restaurant, and while he was patting his belly, he slipped on a banana peel and fell down the stairs. It was none other than Cream who had nonchalantly thrown the banana peel at the stairs. Kerubim’s chubby cheeks turn blue with anger when he found out whom the culprit was, but he couldn’t stay angry with Cream because she was so cute. Her pink lips were like rose petals and her eyes were full of tears, and Kerubim's anger quickly melted. Cream never gets into trouble. Roland Roland is a huge disappointment to the royal family. The royal family of Planetar was known to produce a large number of brave knights successively. Roland's Grandmother was famous for having mounted a horse without a saddle and for wielding a heavy axe that even men couldn't lift. Roland’s father was gifted in spear combat. His mother, gained fame as the greatest teacher of knights. Roland was the first and only student who couldn’t pass the Knight Apprentice test among hundreds of knight apprentices trained by his mother, Queen Angela Marianne. Roland was always enthusiastic in escaping from the class he attended reluctantly and constantly planned on how to escape. His novel escape plans made him famous in the school. Queen Angela who, as well as being his mother, was also principle of the school did not find it as funny as everyone else. After a while, the exasperated queen realized she couldn’t control him by scolding him and after some deep thought, decided to quit her teaching profession and tutored Roland personally. Hazel Hazel was born because of a union between a vampire mother, Gertrude, and a human father, Bren. Cheerful and handsome, Bren came to the Dark Valley with his friends and got lost. While wandering all alone, he was attacked by vampires. Gertrude saved Bren as she had fell in love with the thoughtful Bren, and Bren had fell in love with the mystical charm of Gertrude, which humans didn't possess. Gertrude left the Dark Valley and lived with Bren and after a year, Hazel was born. However, it was difficult for a vampire and a human to live together and Bren started to get impatient with Gertrude because she could not go out with him in the daytime. Sucking the blood of animals and living the unfamiliar way of humans became too painful for Gertrude. Bren’s absence from home became more and more frequent. Left alone at home, Gertrude once again started her night hunt, which she had given up before for Bren. Then, one night when Bren was absent, the angry people broke into their home and chased Gertrude away to the Dark Valley with young Hazel. It did take them a long time and lots of sacrifice to obtain the peace that they now enjoy. The Earth Element has a power to convert a land destroyed by drought into a rich and resourceful land. Attacks from the enemies who wanted to take over the Earth Element occurred quite often. Warren joined the other warriors of the tribe in fighting against the enemies, using his skillful combat skills. After Warren and the other warriors of the tribe won the long war, peace finally came to them. Even though the war had ended, Warren had never been lazy in training, even when he was fishing or hunting. Therefore, Warren became a lot stronger than when he was younger. Ten years had passed, and the village was having a huge celebration for the tenth year of peace. Everyone in the village brought lots of drinks, meat, and fruits, and had a great time with their families. When everyone fell asleep after the party ended, the big bell in the middle of the shrine started ringing. The bell had never rung in 10 years. Everyone woke up surprised, and headed to the shrine. The bell was for ringing when there was a war or an emergency in the village. When everyone in the village was gathered at the shrine, the twentieth Elder of the village, Dunkin appeared. Dunkin announced that the Earth Element was stolen, and that Warren’s friend Roper, who was guarding the Earth Element, had died. The villagers became distraught, and Warren remembered what happened the day before. It was Warren’s turn to guard the Earth Element. However, Roper volunteered to guard the shrine, because he didn’t like parties, and told Warren to enjoy the party with his family. Suddenly, the elder of the village, Dunkin came to Warren and talked to him quietly. “ Guardians of the Element are responsible in protecting the Element. The Element that protected our village is now gone. Our village is in a great danger… but there is one way to bring our village peace once again, and that is to find the Legendary Orb.” Warren left the village and his family to get the Earth Element back, and to seek retribution for his best friend Roper.
