Supremacy: The Game Of The Superpowers

Supremacy is a strategic board game published in 1984 by Supremacy Games. Supremacy was the only game to be published by Supremacy Games. The game features many expansion packs and even a Mega Supremacy version with its own map.

Supremacy takes place in the early 21st century and pits 6 superpowers in a war for control of the earth. Supremacy features conventional and nuclear warfare, although nuclear weapons require research and development before actual usage.

The game includes the following (taken from the instruction manual):

1. Game map and instruction manual.

2. Army and navy units for each superpower. A cube represents an army and an oblong represents a navy.

3. Money in the denominations of 1, 5, 25, 50, 100 and 500 million.

4. Meters which measure the supply of resources in the stock market or supply center.

5. Supply Centers which display five different colored rows of spots: L-star, nukes, minerals, oil and grain. Below the main rows are lines for bank loans and interest payment per turn.

6. Resource Cards: A deck of 65 cards comprising 20 grains, 20 oil, 20 mineral, three nuke and two L-star.

7. Mushroom clouds representing nuclear explosions.

8. Four dice to resolve battles.

One popular catch phrase commonly used during play was: "Assemble my nuclear fleet!"
