STUDENTS 9% of all students are in ESL programs. On the SAT , students received an average of 558 on the verbal portion and 563 on the math, and have the highest average scores in the Beaverton area. Sunset students had a 3.4% drop out rate. The Sunset Rocketry Club is a student-initiated Model Rocketry club at the school. The club attended the 2003 Team America Rocketry Challenge finals in Manassas , Virginia . Sunset High School also hosted the 2004 State Thespian conference. Sports
