Stomach Vacuum




The stomach vacuum is a Weight Training exercise used to create a flatter and narrower Abdomen by strengthening the Transversus Abdominis Muscle . It was popularized by Arnold Schwarzenegger .

The exercise is performed by exhaling all the air out of the Lung s, and then sucking in the stomach as far as possible and holding it sucked in for at least ten seconds—preferably twenty. It can be performed while sitting or standing.
