Startup Control Panel

USER INTERFACE

The StartupCPL interface features up to 7 tabs, each pertaining to a certain section of the windows startup registry.

Startup/user - the active user's "Startup" folder in the Start Menu.

Startup/common - the common (all users) Startup folder in the Start Menu. Appears only on NT and multi-user Win9x systems.

HKLM / Run - the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE run key. Changes in this tab affect all user accounts.

HKCU / Run - the Run registry key located in HKEY_CURRENT_USER. These apply for the current user only.

Services - system services that are started before the user logs in. This does not apply to versions of windows with an NT kernel.

Run Once - Place items here to load on the enxt startup only.

Deleted - This is where items in the other tabs will be sent once you have deleted them.
