''Space Age Batchelor Pad Music'' ( Sic ) is an album by the band Stereolab , originally released in March 1993. Strongly contrasted, ''Space Age Batchelor Pad Music'' offers a mix that floats between Krautrock ("We're Not Adult Oriented") and Dream Pop / Easy Listening music. Those two genres can be clearly identified. The album cover actually says "Space Age BATCHELOR Pad Music" which could be a typo, as the tracks of the same name are correctly spelled.

The album gets its name from a popular description of the music of band leader and composer Esquivel .
