GEOGRAPHY According to the United States Census Bureau , the unorganized territory has a total area of 464.3 Km&2 (179.2 Mi&2 ). 463.2 km&2 (178.8 mi&2) of it is land and 1.1 km&2 (0.4 mi&2) of it is water. The total area is 0.23% water. DEMOGRAPHICS As of the Census 2 of 2000, there were 229 people, 87 households, and 62 families residing in the unorganized territory. The Population Density was 0.5/km&2 (1.3/mi&2). There were 107 housing units at an average density of 0.2/km&2 (0.6/mi&2). The racial makeup of the unorganized territory was 98.69% White , 0.00% Black or African American , 0.87% Native American , 0.00% Asian , 0.00% Pacific Islander , 0.44% from Other Races , and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race.
