South Dakota Public Broadcasting, or '''SDPB''' for short, is a network of PBS television and NPR radio stations serving the state of South Dakota . The stations are operated by the '''South Dakota Bureau Of Information And Telecommunication''', a state agency.


RADIO

SDPB's history with radio can be traced back to May 22 , 1922 when KUSD signed on the air. But it wasn't until the 1970s that South Dakota Public Radio became a reality. Today KUSD-FM 89.7 in Vermillion serves as the flagship station for the nine-station network.
