''Soap on a Rope'' is a Webcomic written and drawn by Bob Roberds, and hosted at Keenspot . It began on March 3, 1997 and is currently updated Mondays through Fridays. Focusing on the lives of Max Slacker and his coworkers and acquaintances, the strip is a Serial Comedy . Otherwise, it is hard to pin down. It is sometimes set at Max's job (customer support at MCX), but is not a Workplace Comedy nor Geek Comedy . It often features visits to Parallel Universe s, encounters with Alien s, and/or time travel, but is not Sci-fi . It features relationships, but is not Romantic Comedy .
