Another sure sign of Snohomish pride is the annual "serpentine". Serpentine is a parade held before homecoming in which every high school student joins to walk down the streets of Snohomish. The students are dressed in the high school colors of red and white. Many students are quite enthusiastic about this parade, as are the residents of the town. Residents line the streets with cameras and happy faces to view this joyful event.

The two middle schools, the Centennial Patriots and the Valley View Vikings, are cross-town rivals.
