EXAMPLES Konami , makers of ''Dance Dance Revolution'', has released a Video Game , '' Karaoke Revolution '', that measures a player's pitch and gives a score based on the player's ability to maintain the proper pitch and duration for each note while singing along with a Song whose lyrics are displayed on the screen. High scores are saved, so players can compete against each other or previous scores. Whose Line Is It Anyway? , in both its original British and later American manifestations, sometimes had events in which competitors had to spontaneously generate songs based on a given theme and in a given style.
