HISTORY Opened as the Boomtown, a Locals Casino , in 1994. With the 2004 renovation, the property took on more of a water theme. This includes a 117,000 gallon salt water Aquarium with Mermaid s who perform shows. At the same time, a 145,000 square foot Bass Pro Shop was added.
