''Silver Bullet'' is a 1985 film based on the Stephen King novella '' Cycle Of The Werewolf ''. It stars Gary Busey , Everett McGill , Megan Follows , Corey Haim , Terry O'Quinn and Lawrence Tierney . Directed by Dan Attias . Produced by Dino De Laurentiis .

PLOT

The film follows a Paraplegic brother, Marty (Haim), and put-upon sister, Jane (Follows), and the ups and downs their relationship endures when a series of murders take place in their small New England town of Tarker's Mill. Feeling no one would believe their suspicions that the killer is actually a Werewolf , they turn to their Alcoholic uncle (Busey) for help.

Was filmed between October 1984 and December 1984. It was finally released in the U.S. on October 11 , 1985 .

The film was made in both Burgaw, North Carolina and Wilmington, North Carolina .

The UK DVD release of the film in 2001 contains the original Movie Trailer and Spoken Commentary by director Daniel Attias, both of which are not available on any other officially released DVD, including the US edition which was finally released on May 28 , 2002 .
