It was originally distributed via the Subcarrier of an FM radio station as data to a special receiver connected to a computer. Signal's data was also alternately distributed via the VBI of the video of several popular cable & satellite tv channels, such as C-SPAN and WGN , which was received by a special receiver connected to a computer as well that read the data in the VBI. Signal was discontinued by DBC for ESignal , essentially the same service, but distributed via the Internet instead. EXTERNAL LINKS |
