Siberian Federal District ( of Russia . It is the central of the three Asian districts. Its population was 20,062,938 in the 2002 census, living on an area of 5,114,800 km&2 (1,974,835.3 mi&2). The Current Presidential Envoy to Siberian Federal District is Anatoly Kvashnin . It should not be confused with Siberia , which includes the whole of Asian Russia except close to the Pacific.
