ABOUT Seabrook was founded by a gentleman by the name of Charles Brook, and the name arose due to an error in a photo processing shop; instead of writing C. Brook on his film, the clerk wrote Seabrook, and, well the name stuck. Seabrook has two factories in Bradford - one in the Allerton area and one off Cemetery Road. They have recently decided, unpopularly, to introduce foil packets instead of the previous "See What You Buy" plastic variety. Seabrook used to be famous for its misuse of quotation marks, although it has since cleaned up its act and is now a lot more careful. Examples include:
Despite the claims of the company that its crisps are sold nationwide, they are hard to find in the South of England, although they do offer a mail order service, where customers can buy boxes of 48 packets of crisps, and can mix flavours. EXTERNAL LINKS |
