The ride takes guests on an adventure through dark tunnels, under a swinging axe and into a room with laser effects. The first part of the ride is just like a typical Haunted House but the carriage then travels vertically upward several stories before dropping backwards down the roller coaster section. The carriage continues until it's direction is swapped (via a turntable) and then goes through many laser effects with heart pumping pop music from the Scooby Doo movie soundtrack. FACTS The manufacturer is German company, Heinrich Mack GmbH & Co. The ride was designed to achieve the most thrilling and varied ride effects incorporating dips in the dark ride section, a vertical lift and a reverse chute followed by a rotating station. Capacity - 1 000 guests per hour. Duration of ride - approximately 253 seconds. Length of track - 530 metres. Maximum track height - 17 metres. Maximum speed - 44.6 km per hour. |
