Science Diet is the brand name of cat and dog foods marketed by Hill's Pet Nutrition , Inc. HISTORY Science Diet was first developed by Mark Morris, DVM , when he was asked to create a specialized diet to assist a Dog with Kidney problems. This led him and his son to create numerous other formulas to meet the particular needs in an animal's nutrition over the course of their life, and potential varying states of health. Current products produced under the Science Diet brand are: canned and dry dog and cat foods, including puppy and kitten formulas, as well as a range of formulas from hairball remedy, and sensitive stomach, to weight loss and dental care.
