The district is mainly a Paddy growing area. As such, Sabak Bernam's main economic activity is agriculture. Bagan Nakhoda Omar is little-known beach. Located in the Sabak Bernam district, the beach is accessible by a road that will take you through several traditional villages. That itself is already an eye-opening experience. A quiet getaway, Bagan Nakhoda has a good combination of sun, sand and sea, the no-frills way. For meals, you can check out the hawker stalls at the beach and have your meals accompanied by a refreshing breeze. Visitors are welcomed at a number of batik factories and the night market unique and peculiar to the district, and to savour seafood at several ''warung ikan bakar'' (grilled fish stalls). |
