The year 2005 saw Sabah releasing a new Dance single titled "Shoo Feeha Al Diny", (or "What's in the world?"). Despite the majority's belief that Sabah is much too old to be planning a come-back, she remains a respected artist and was invited to participate in the Star Academy (equivalent of UK's Fame Academy ) where she sang her new single on a stage lined with manicans wearing the luxurious dresses that she had worn herself in several of her early films and musical plays. Sabah is lovingly called Sabbouha by her Arab fans and is also known as "Al Shahroura", or the singing bird. Her latest song (Yana Yana) a duet with Lebanese singer Rola was released at the beginning of 2006 and is a remake of a song by the same name sung by Sabah in the 60's.
