Politically, many Palestinian residents refer to themselves by their nationality or their nationalistic aspiritaions. Many stateless Arabs of West Bank , Gaza Strip and East Jerusalem refer to themselves as "Palestinians", reflecting a nationalistic aspiration to become citizens of a future sovereign state to be known as "Palestine".
