Raphael was a Japanese rock group, in the genre of Visual Kei .


MEMBERS

  • YUKI - Vocals - In his early years, Yuki was a member of a boys' choir.

  • 華月（Kazuki) - Guitar - Main composer and lyricist. Passed away in 2000, at the age of 19.

  • Yukito - Bass

  • Hiro - Drums



HISTORY

Raphael was organized in 1998.
They made their's debut in "花咲く命ある限り"(hana saku inochi aru kagiri).
Their music was met with high praise by listeners. Sometimes, adopted the classics.
After Kazuki's death, they were left with no other choice but to disband, such was the regard they had for their fallen bandmate. Even now, their tragic break-up is lamented by a large portion of their fan base.

YUKI and Hiro began a collaborative project named "rice", while YUKITO went on to form "BLACK LOVE".
