Radio 1212, during the Allied invasion of Germany, broadcast a fictitious story of a German city who rebelled against the Nazi regime, pretending to relay messages from the Burgomaster asking for help. Sefton Delmer did not think this operation was worthwhile, but tried to support it on his network of stations. |
