The show pokes fun at some of the tradional radio programmes such as with:

- , a reality show were ordinary people attempt to fool a panel of experts in tasks such as skydiving, piloting an aircraft or downhill skiing. It nearly always results in utter disaster
- , a play in which the father will get his sons or mistresses to perform a sitcom character at an important event to get some reward.
- , a sitcom about doting mother and her lazy dishonest son. Played with canned laughter.
