GEOGRAPHY According to the United States Census Bureau , the township has a total area of 9.9 Km&2 (3.8 Mi&2 ). 9.9 km&2 (3.8 mi&2) of it is land and none of it is covered by water. DEMOGRAPHICS As of the Census 2 of 2000, there were 251 people, 105 households, and 63 families residing in the township. The Population Density was 25.3/km&2 (65.6/mi&2). There were 114 housing units at an average density of 11.5/km&2 (29.8/mi&2). The racial makeup of the township was 100.00% White , 0.00% African American , 0.00% Native American , 0.00% Asian , 0.00% Pacific Islander , 0.00% from Other Races , and 0.00% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population were Hispanic or Latino of any race. There were 105 households out of which 20.0% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 51.4% were Married Couples living together, 4.8% had a female householder with no husband present, and 40.0% were non-families. 35.2% of all households were made up of individuals and 13.3% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.30 and the average family size was 2.92. In the township the population was spread out with 20.7% under the age of 18, 7.2% from 18 to 24, 32.7% from 25 to 44, 22.7% from 45 to 64, and 16.7% who were 65 years of age or older.
