Quincy James Owusu-Abeyie (born April 15 , 1986 in Amsterdam , The Netherlands ), known occasionally simply by his first name "'''Quincy'''", is a Dutch Football er who plays as a Forward for Spartak Moscow . He is of Ghanaian heritage.

He had been a member of Ajax Amsterdam 's youth system for nine years before he was signed by Arsenal in September 2002, and handed a long-term contract on July 1 , 2003 . His first appearance was in a League Cup match against Rotherham United F.C. on October 28 , 2003 in which Arsenal drew 1-1. He was arrested for a fight in a London cafe following the Professional Footballers' Association Player Awards at 3am on 25 April 2005 . The police did not press any charges against Owusu-Abeyie and cleared him of any involvement in the incident.

In the summer of 2005, Owusu-Abeyie had a superb showing at the FIFA World Youth Championship . Though the Netherlands crashed out of the tournament in the quarter-finals, Arsenal handed the youngster a long term contract.
