queerplanet, was first established in , Norwich , Bedfordshire . The queerplanet network is a Non Profit , volunteer based organization with a mission is to provide creative outlets and opportunities for the LGBT and GLBT-friendly community of all ages to help them find and develop skills they never knew they had, in a safe environment. It also endeavors to raise money and bring attention and awareness to worthy charities through fundraising and dance parties around the world, and to nurture and develop role models and to intervene where necessary where there are people at risk. queerplanet does not endorse pornography and there is no pornography on any of the queerplanet websites, due to the founders' belief that there are enough websites that provide that service and due to the desire to be a site that is entertaining, informative, and non-threatening.
