It came to public attention after the suspension of its shares on March 31 1993 consequent upon significant financial difficulties which precipitated a spectacular collapse. The company was subsequently investigated under Section 432(2) of the Companies Act, 1985 . Queens Moat House was bought by goldman sachs in August 2005, They then sold 9 hotels. The 20 hotels they kept have changed to either Holiday Inns, Crown Plaza or Best Weston. |
