Their rallying cry is the ''". The song has the tune of '' John Brown's Body '' or the '' Battle Hymn Of The Republic ''; its English verses about the rivals of Queen's College alternate with the Gaelic chorus. It is noteworthy that Queen's University was established in 1842 as a Presbyterian seminary. The connection to Gaelic is thus explained. The sports teams have had a variety of successes on the national and international stages over the university's history, including Grey Cup victories in the early Twentieth Century.
