Although classical channels cannot transmit quantum information by themselves, they can be useful in combination with quantum channels. But the quantum channel will not be able to designate either classical information or quantum information, resulting in using either a classical channel or a quantum channel. Quantum channels can be defined in terms of a Superoperator , which shows how the Density Operator of states entering the channel is affected. CHANNEL CAPACITIES Quantum channels can be used to encode both Classical Information and Quantum Information . Thus, a quantum channel will have different information "capacities" for the two types of information. The Classical Capacity Of A Quantum Channel and the Quantum Capacity Of A Quantum Channel are both studied. |
